well i'm trying to get back into the swing of things again.

i've been taking more photos again for various reasons. one, i recently got engaged, and so i've been trooping around looking at wedding venues, so that's afforded me the opportunity to try to capture how i see things.

also, with my new submission of "orange," i am now embroiled in a weekly contest with some of my coworkers. i didn't win, but i'm fairly pleased how it turned out. if anything, i realized how "judging" is a random event and how it really doesn't matter, so long as what i wanted to illustrate came across. and it did.

i also realized i should write more, as its been too long.
